Winding down

My goodness! What a busy 3 weeks it has been! We've made the drive between  and Atlanta as many times in as many weeks but we are finally fully moved in! Our new house is only about 70% unpacked but that's a different story.

Pulling out of ATL for the last time!

Week 5 was a rough one for our baby bear - baby acne, clogged tear ducts and lots of self mutilation (why are baby nails so sharp!?). Of course all this had to happen the same week lots of pictures would be taken!

Hanging out with Grandpa and G-Ma!

In the the adorable romper Laura made and monogrammed for him!

On the bright side, Easton has definitely learned his days from his nights and now spends a good chunk of the day awake! He sleeps through the night, with the exception of 1 feeding around 3am and will sleep till 7 or 9 in the morning, depending on what time we put him down the night before.

We also started cloth diapering this week and I'm obsessed! I think they are just the cutest darn things and honestly, they are not any more effort - I'm doing at least 1 load of laundry a day as is. He still sleeps in disposables at night (they are definitely more absorbent) and he wore them last weekend when we were in Atlanta but I'm much happier only throwing away 2 diapers a day instead of 8-10.

Pickles thinks cloth diapers are pretty cute too!

Now that we're here and settled, it's finally time to take a break and slow down. I plan to have the house completely unpacked, put away and pictures hung by the middle of next week at the latest. Then we can really sit back, put our feet up and enjoy the summer with our little boy!

  1. Try putting 0.5% hydrocortisone cream on the baby acne if it bothers you. Cleared KW's right up!

Also, that picture with Pickles is the best. I thought he had been sent to live with someone else??
