While the Parents are Away....

Easton is such a lucky little boy! He is loved by so many people, but especially loved by his parents and his grandparents!! Branch and I are also very lucky because we have parents who are so supportive and it gives us a little bit of freedom to experience fun things and spend some quality adult time together! Easton's Nashville grandparents definitely get to spend time with East on a more frequent basis, but his Florida grandparents really make it count when they get to see him!

Easton was truly a lucky boy to get to spend a whole week with Grandma and Grandpa while Branch and I were galavanting around the Caribbean! Knowing he was well taken care of made it so much easier to relax and have fun.

And boy, did those three have a fun time! Grandma and Grandpa obviously know what a huge fan of Thomas the Train Easton is, and on his first day there they took him to a Thomas the Train live event. I've heard about these before but the Nashville even sells out really fast so I'm so happy that they were able to go!

 Grandma's smart: always pack snacks!

The rest of their week was spent hanging out and taking it easy! We had given them and idea of what Easton's day normally looks like and by day 2 or 3 they had his schedule all figured out :)

Easton's day includes plenty of cuddling...

Lot's of eating!!

Some fun play time:

More eating...

A little screen time (for both Grandpa and Easton!)

And of course, more eating!

When they weren't hanging out at the house, Grandma and Grandpa took Easton to fun and exciting new places:

One fun story from the park: Easton, who must take after his Grandpa, made sure to clean off all the leaves on the slide before he would slide down it!

One day's plans included a trip to the mall and Easton loved the little mall playground. It's really something I wish our local mall had!

Whether at the house, or out and about, all three had a great time!

But all good things must come to an end, and unfortunately so did this trip for all of us. Although I'm sure on some level, Grandma and Grandpa were ready to not have to chase after a toddler for a little while ;)

Last up, was our time spent at the Tampa airport and the flight home. We tried to get all the wiggles out in the terminal before our flight!

As far as I'm concerned, you do whatever you have to do to keep a baby happy and quiet on the plane. It's total survival mode here people! For us, that means extra screen time and bottomless snacks!

We're so grateful for ALL of Easton's grandparents, but especially grateful for this time away. It's a big ask to watch your child for seven days, and we appreciate them giving their time and hearts to our little man!

Love y'all!
