8 months

Easton turned 8 months old last week! I'm so behind because we move on Wednesday and there is so much left to do!

Weight: >23lbs
Clothing size: 12 - 18 months
Teeth: 2! He has both front bottom teeth
Level of mobility: Has mastered the army crawl
New development milestones: Learned how to pull himself up in the crib last week - uh oh!
Favorite activity: Still loves bouncing in the "Joy Factory"
Sleeping: Still doing well, he had an amazing week (12 hours of sleep at night +4 hours of naps every day) followed by one weird week where he woke up at 5am every morning and we had to really push for a nap. Now we're back to sleeping until 7am and napping
Favorite Food: He's not a super picky eater and will eat just about anything we put in front of him but sweet potatoes are still his favorite!
Least Favorite Food:  Toss up between green beans and peas, unless it's pre-made baby food we buy from the store. Then he'll eat them.

In addition to the baby food, we've been letting E nosh on some solids like bread crusts and fruit chunks.

I thought this picture was too cute not to share.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We started the day at our friend's house for Turkey Bowl. While I got to relax and sip mimosas, Easton was passed around by our friend's moms. He clearly didn't mind!

Cindy and Easton

Nothing interrupts his nap time!

We went to Branch's parents for Thanksgiving dinner and took a second to snap a Turkey Day selfie while we waited for dinner to be served!

On Saturday, we went Christmas Tree shopping with E's Gigi and Aunt Lisa. Aunt Lisa lives in LA so we were so excited to get to spend time with her!!

We also stopped by the neighborhood park to take his first ride in a swing!

If only someone could invent socks that babies can't take off!

Passed out from all the fun!

I lovingly call the next set of pictures: Unflattering Faces of Easton. Let's be honest, no one can smile 100% of the time.

While Mommy and Mimi decorated Mimi's neighborhood entrance, Branch entertained Easton with some leaves...
 (it was also unseasonably warm)

Just doing a little shopping in the Target bike aisle...

These pictures make me laugh. Mainly because I use laughing as a coping mechanism when I hear babies cry.

Kid just wanted his bottle (and to go to bed!)

It's a good thing he looks like this more often than not!

Easton's really study on his feet. He hasn't figured out that he can move in any direction while standing but he can fully stand by himself.

This was the day we had to drop his crib to the lowest setting. He had recently learned how to sit up in the crib so it was only a matter of time before he figured out how to stand!

 He's so pleased with himself!

The Joy Factory continues to be the best Craigslist purchase we've ever made!

Since we're moving, we're selling some things we no longer use, like Easton's original stroller. It was fun to put him in his bassinet to see how much he has grown in the last 8 months!

Well, it sounds like the little bear is stirring so it's time to go play!

Love y'all!
